Job Summary

A DevOps Engineer is needed to support software deployment and infrastructure management in a continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) environment. The role focuses on maintaining cloud-based systems, managing containerized applications, and supporting secure and reliable software delivery processes. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, supporting deployments to cloud platforms, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing security compliance standards.

Travel: None

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting code deployments to a cloud environment
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems
  • Active Security+ certification

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily system checks to ensure system availability and reliability
  • Support code deployments to cloud-based Kubernetes environments
  • Perform CI/CD pipeline maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans
  • Conduct Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans
  • Document processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage GitLab groups and repositories
  • Implement security compliance standards and configuration guidelines

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kubernetes (ELK) stacks
  • Advanced cloud certifications related to DevOps or cloud architecture
  • Certifications related to Elasticsearch or Kibana
  • Kubernetes Administrator certification
  • Advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CASP or CISSP

Education

A Bachelors degree in a STEM field is preferred but not required.
