Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join TGA & Soccer Stars of Conejo Valley as a Youth Cheer Instructor and inspire the next generation of athletes! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about sports and dedicated to fostering a positive and fun learning environment for children in Thousand Oaks, CA. We are looking for coaches with experience in Cheerleading or Gymnastics and have a passion for working with kids.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Cheer coaching sessions for youth athletes.
• Develop age-appropriate training programs that enhance skills and teamwork.
• Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance coaching skills.
• Promote sportsmanship and a love for the game among players.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in coaching youth sports or related activities.
• Strong knowledge in Cheerleading is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire children of various skill levels.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
• Background check clearance is required for all candidates.
• Passion for sports and youth development is essential.
