ob Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and functionality of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple trades including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner

Maintain a clean and safe working environment; ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

Perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repair tasks

Support external contractors and vendors when specialized services are required

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and materials used

Assist with office and equipment moves, furniture assembly, and event setups as needed

Monitor and manage building access and security systems if applicable

Ensure inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies is stocked and organized
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred

2+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance

Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Basic computer skills for logging work orders and reporting

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders/scaffolding for extended periods

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
