We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects, including municipal drinking water treatment facilities, pump stations, and water storage systems. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, building strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept to completion, including safety, quality, engineering, procurement, construction, permitting, and public relations.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop and manage project schedules, scope, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet QA/QC standards and client expectations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Apply conventional and advanced treatment technologies to solve water quality challenges.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement.
- Participate in professional organizations and provide market insights to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field from an accredited program (required).
- Minimum 7 years of related experience (10 years preferred), including 3+ years managing engineering projects. A master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
- Previous consulting experience preferred.
- Professional Registration preferred.
- Demonstrated success in project management strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop business and establish client relationships strongly preferred.
- Prior experience on construction sites or in program management across industries such as aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, or water is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead, influence, and manage change positively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including occasional overtime.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
