Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Scale Operator role based in Marshallville, GA. The Scale Operator is responsible for accurately weighing inbound and outbound trucks, recording weight information, and ensuring all tickets and related documentation are completed correctly. Daily responsibilities include greeting and assisting drivers, verifying load information, entering data into computer systems, answering phones, and coordinating with yard and warehouse personnel. The role also requires monitoring material flow, following all company safety procedures, and assisting with agricultural product handling and other operational needs as necessary. The Scale Operator works closely with customer service and operations teams to maintain efficient truck turnaround times while providing a professional, organized, and welcoming scale house environment.

- Candidates should possess strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and coworkers.
- Candidates should possess professional office interaction skills, including proper Phone Etiquette and clear verbal communication.
- Candidates should possess basic technical skills, including Computer Literacy and the ability to learn and operate scale, ticketing, and other computer software.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of material handling processes, with Recycling or agricultural product handling experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering data and completing documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Marshallville, GA and remain seated or standing for extended periods as needed.
- Commitment to following company safety procedures, policies, and operational standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
