CSP has partnered with an International client who is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a collaborative, fast‐paced Washington, D.C. office. This is a hands‐on role supporting complex federal and state litigation from start to finish. The ideal candidate is detail‐driven, intellectually curious, and thrives in a deadline‐intensive environment where precision and discretion matter.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, file, and manage pleadings and filings in federal and state courts
- Draft and finalize litigation documents, including motions, summonses, affidavits, and discovery materials
- Substantively cite‐check and format briefs in accordance with Bluebook and court rules
- Coordinate service of complaints and subpoenas
- Track dockets, deadlines, and court appearances
- Manage discovery, including document review and productions using e‐discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity)
- Support depositions and hearings, including exhibits, notices, subpoenas, and digests
- Assist with trial preparation, transcript management, and exhibit organization
- Maintain organized electronic case files while handling confidential information with care
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting complex litigation in federal and state courts
- Bachelor’s degree required; ABA‐accredited paralegal certificate preferred
- Strong knowledge of FRCP, local court rules, and judge‐specific practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, and PACER
- Experience with Relativity or similar platforms
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: four days in‐office, one remote (subject to business needs)
- Non‐exempt position; overtime eligible
