What You’ll Do
- Perform set-up, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on liquid fill production line equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, banders, and related machinery.
- Adjust and change parts to prepare lines for various product runs.
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor production lines and assist operators to maintain efficient operations.
- Perform routine daily maintenance such as greasing, oiling, belt changes, and scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Ensure proper torque fills and product quality in coordination with Quality Control.
- Wash out and prepare fillers between product changes.
- Follow OSHA safety standards, hazard recognition, housekeeping, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Properly handle and store hazardous or flammable materials in compliance with regulations.
- Communicate parts and equipment needs to supervisors to maintain inventory readiness.
- Assist with production tasks as needed to keep lines running smoothly.
What You Bring
- Minimum one year of maintenance/mechanical experience or two-year trade school/Associate Degree in a related mechanical field.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and mechanical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Experience working with production equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Solid math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional attendance.
- Ability to lift 25–60 lbs. and perform physical repair work in a production environment.
