Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in the Commercial and Healthcare construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, ensuring that all aspects of the project are covered, and supporting the overall project management process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial and healthcare construction projects.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other key stakeholders to gather necessary project specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.
- Monitor project budgets and provide financial analysis during the project lifecycle.
- Review and update estimates as necessary throughout the project phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably in commercial and healthcare projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
