About the Job
Lattis Networks is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in San Luis Obispo. This is an excellent opportunity for a college graduate who wants hands-on IT experience in a professional Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
As an IT Support Technician, you’ll start on the help desk providing Tier 1 support and quickly expand into field support, networking, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and project work as you grow.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Tier 1 help desk support for end users (remote & on-site)
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, printers, and basic networking issues
- Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, phones, and user accounts
- Assist with workstation imaging, onboarding/offboarding, and device deployment
- Support senior techs with network equipment, Wi-Fi, and infrastructure work
- Document tickets and follow established service procedures
- Work with RMM tools, ticketing systems, documentation platforms, and monitoring tools
Qualifications
Required
- College degree preferred (CS, IT, Engineering, Business, or similar)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of computers, Windows OS, and networking
- Ability to learn quickly, follow procedures, and work independently
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Nice to Have
- CompTIA A+ or Network+
- Experience with Microsoft 365 support
- Exposure to help desk, MSP environments, or campus/IT projects
- Familiarity with RMM or ticketing systems
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $25–$27/hr DOE
- Growth Path: Advancement to $30+/hr with performance
