Job Description

Mammography Technologist / Outpatient Imaging

A busy outpatient imaging organization in Hollywood, Florida is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join its team. This is a permanent opportunity for an ARRT(M)-certified Mammography Technologist who values schedule flexibility and an outpatient work environment. Previous Mammography experience is not required. The client is focused on finding someone who already holds the required Mammography certification and is prepared to move quickly with qualified candidates.

Schedule

Choose from:

(5) 8-hour shifts
(4) 10-hour shifts
Optional Saturday schedule with a weekday off

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist will:

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
Position patients accurately while maintaining image quality and patient comfort.
Follow established mammography protocols and radiation safety standards.
Explain procedures and provide compassionate support throughout the imaging process.
Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
Work closely with radiologists and other members of the imaging team.
Maintain required quality and regulatory standards.
Provide a professional and positive patient experience.

Required Qualifications

ARRT Mammography certification, ARRT(M), required
Active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
Strong patient care and communication skills
Candidates who are newly certified in Mammography are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$32-$40 per hour
