We're looking for a dependable Security Guard (Armed) to help maintain a safe and secure environment for MPW employees, customers, and visitors. This position is responsible for monitoring facility access, maintaining campus security, conducting patrols, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

What You’ll Do
· Arrive on time and ensure the guardhouse and all required equipment are set up and ready by 6:30 a.m.
· Maintain an orderly and efficient flow of traffic through the facility gate.
· Identify guests and visitors and direct them to the appropriate location based on their needs.
· Log outbound MPW equipment and maintain accurate records.
· Ensure employees use key cards when entering and exiting the campus.
· Monitor visitor departures to help ensure safe and timely exit from the facility.
· Maintain gate activity logs for all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
· Conduct routine patrols of the campus while monitoring for safety concerns and suspicious or criminal activity.
· Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and security-related incidents.
· Secure the guardhouse and assigned equipment at the end of each shift.
· Perform other duties as directed.
What You’ll Need
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures is preferred.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
· Basic computer skills.
· Current and valid driver's license.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and respond to emergency situations as needed.
