Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, educating customers on products, and ensuring compliance with all company and age-verification policies.
We are looking for team members who are professional, reliable, energetic, and enjoy interacting with customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a positive and professional attitude
- Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
- Educate customers on cigars, Botanical products, accessories, vaporizers, and related merchandise
- Follow strict age verification (21+) and ID compliance policies
- Operate POS system and process transactions accurately
- Promote loyalty/rewards program and current promotions
- Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and premium store appearance
- Restock inventory and merchandise shelves
- Help maintain walk-in humidor and product displays
- Follow opening/closing procedures and daily checklists
- Work as part of a team to meet store goals and maintain company standards
Qualifications
- Retail, sales, customer service, vape, tobacco, smoke shop, convenience store, hospitality, or restaurant experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable learning about products and educating customers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must be at least 21 years old
