Pivot OnSite Innovations is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Industrial Athletic Trainer to join our team in a PRN capacity at our client’s site in Amana, IA. This is your chance to make a real difference in employee health, wellness, and safety at a dynamic worksite!

Why This Role Matters

As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will play a crucial role in managing worksite injuries and implementing health improvement programs. Your focus will be on injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, and enhancing overall employee wellness.

Position Overview

We are seeking someone who can cover as-needed shifts on:

  • Tuesday/Friday: 6 AM - 2 PM
  • Wednesday/Thursday: 9 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses.
  • Develop and implement site-specific wellness initiatives.
  • Design and execute ergonomic interventions using creative solutions.
  • Provide first-aid treatment for musculoskeletal complaints.
  • Perform orthopedic injury assessments and participate in injury prevention education.
  • Coordinate treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercises and modalities.
  • Analyze data and manage administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting.
  • Create a supportive environment that encourages employee responsibility for health.
  • Collaborate with safety personnel on rehab and injury prevention activities.
  • Attend meetings and serve on committees as needed.
  • Contribute articles for newsletters and the company Intranet.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Board of Certification (BOC) certified.
  • State licensure/certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Willingness to travel to various client locations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and employees.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of two years of athletic training experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and worker’s compensation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous ergonomic/occupational health experience.
  • CEAS/OSHA10 certification.
