Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Execute a Specialized Truck build program that is under way, with outside vendors and engineers
- Identify, evaluate, and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
- Contact suppliers concerning questions of performance and availability of parts, evaluate quotations, capability and assist in make or buy selection.
- Create bills of material for product and components.
- Develop and review projects, analyze and interpret specifications and features required to meet technical performances specified.
- As a project leader, direct, instruct, assist, and evaluate the work of others involved in the assigned project.
- Provide guidance to manufacturing and quality control regarding design and/or part issues.
- Lead process design/analysis documentation, benchmarking and new product development
- Provide technical assistance to clients (internal and external) on new or existing product applications, requests, or problems and assist with pricing as needed.
- Creates new documentation or updates existing documentation to accurately reflect changes in a product or process to ensure accurate information

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Solidworks software experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
