Position: Insurance Defense Attorney (5+ Years)
Location: Garden City, NY (In-person with future remote potential)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Attorney to join our Insurance Defense team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of personal injury and negligence matters, overseeing files from the initial summons through the final phases of discovery. This role is ideal for a litigation professional who is comfortable in the courtroom, skilled at deposition strategy, and capable of providing high-level reporting to insurance adjusters and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Handle files from the receipt of summons and complaint through all phases of discovery and trial preparation.

Litigation Mastery: Conduct and defend depositions; appear in court for conferences and argue motions.

Administrative Precision: Maintain and follow a rigorous diary system for all files to ensure no deadlines are missed.

Medical Analysis: Review and analyze medical records to assess liability and damages.

Strategic Reporting: Draft and revise timely, detailed reports to insurance adjusters and clients, providing clear legal assessments.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in negligence and personal injury matters.

Litigation Skills: Proven experience in conducting/defending depositions and appearing in court for motions and conferences. Trial experience is a significant plus.

Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Bar Admission: Active license to practice law in New York State.

Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, strong analytical skills, and professional responsiveness to client needs.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year.
