Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders on time.
- Support compliance efforts by maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation required for state, federal, and GFSI audits.
- Stay up to date on all relevant safety protocols and regulations, and ensure compliance at all times.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and blueprints as needed for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of machinery, including Hysense baggers, optical sorters, box erectors, welders, conveyors, ISHIDA scales, Bosch baggers, and forklifts, as well as any new equipment brought into the facility.
- Perform welding tasks and fabrication work when required for machinery repair.
- Provide hands-on technical support to ensure equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimized.
- Follow all established maintenance policies and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to use, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems, VFDs, and Servo drives.
- Help create and maintain the inventory of parts and tools.
- Show a willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and training as operations evolve.
- While not in a supervisory role, assist with training and support of other maintenance team members as needed.
- Perform inspections and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems and carry out additional duties as necessary to support smooth operations across all facilities.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Strong Understanding of ISHIDA scales
- Experience working with 480V, 3 phase
- Bilingual (Spanish); Read and Write
- Strong understanding of vacuum tubes
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Minimum of 5 years in similar role
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Travel to the Yuma facility as required.
