Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM
Location: Halifax, VA

Position Requirements
- Valid RN License in Virginia
- At least 2 years of recent nursing experience within the last 4 years in one or more of the following areas:
- ICU
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification (AHA)
- Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within the last 12 months)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
- Additional credentials may be necessary based on specialty and facility assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care in acute care hospital environments
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and their responses to treatments
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment as required by unit assignment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Exhibit flexibility and professionalism while adapting to various hospital settings
