Job Title: School Social Worker – High School
Location: Thornton, CO
Type: Full-Time
Shift & Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $45 - $60/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support high school students with mental health, emotional, and academic needs through services outlined in their IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental health services and interventions.

• Support students with Mild-Moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs.

• Participate in IEP meetings and monitor student progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, school psychologists, and support staff.

• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.

• Connect students and families with appropriate community resources.

• Maintain accurate documentation and student records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid School Social Worker certification/licensure or eligibility for Colorado credentials.

• Previous school-based experience; high school experience preferred.

• Knowledge of Special Education processes and IEP requirements.

• Ability to work fully onsite.
