Special Education Teacher – Newport, TN

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an extended resource classroom serving students in 3rd–8th grade!

Position Details:
• ASAP – May 2027
• Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 23 students on caseload
• Extended resource classroom
• In-person only
• 461 SPED endorsement required

Classroom Support:
This classroom has a mix of students who spend most of the day in the room and students who come in for reading and/or math instruction. There are 3 classroom assistants to provide support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an extended resource setting and be comfortable writing/collecting data and implementing IEPs.
