Inventory Stockroom Specialist (Electronics)
· Monday through Friday: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
· The job location is in Richardson, Texas 75081
· The pay rate is 20.00 to 22.00 an hour
· Temp to Perm.
POSITION IS STARTING ASAP!
Kitting Responsibilities – Electronics Manufacturing
- Pull and prepare components, materials, and hardware according to the Bill of Materials (BOM), kit lists, and production work orders.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, lot codes, and revisions to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Stage completed kits for assembly lines, SMT, or production cells in an organized and timely manner.
- Perform inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Identify missing, damaged, or incorrect components and report discrepancies to supervisor or materials team.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitting area following 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
- Use ERP/MRP systems to issue materials, update inventory transactions, and track kit status.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and proper handling of sensitive electronic components.
- Replenish kanban bins and support material flow to production as needed.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to resolve material issues and ensure continuous workflow.
- Pack and label kits accurately to facilitate efficient assembly operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in inventory, warehouse, or materials handling (preferably in electronics or manufacturing)
- Managing the Inventory department, Taking responsibility for accuracy
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software a plus (e.g., Epicor, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Team player with good communication and organizational skills
- ESD awareness and handling practices (preferred)
- must have cycle count experience
- heavy electronic components stock room experience
