We're hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local grocery delivery position based in Valparaiso, IN. This opportunity offers daily home time, strong weekly earnings, and steady year-round freight delivering to grocery store locations throughout Northern Indiana and the Chicago area.

Drivers enjoy consistent routes, modern equipment, and competitive activity-based pay.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,750–$1,850
• Average Annual Earnings: Approximately $96,200
• Average Weekly Miles: Approximately 1,800 miles

Additional Pay

• Unload Pay: $39 per unload
• Stop Pay: $14.50 per stop
• Orientation Pay: $100 per day (3-day orientation)
• Driver Referral Bonus: $500

Compensation is activity-based and includes load, stop, and unload pay.

Home Time & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Day and night shifts available
• Weekend work required
• Dispatch times vary by assigned route
• Consistent local operation with year-round freight

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized grocery freight to retail store locations
• Safely operate Class A CDL equipment
• Unload freight using an electric pallet jack
• Place pallets in designated store locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance and accurate logs
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries

Equipment & Freight

• Late-model day cabs
• Automatic and manual transmission trucks available
• Dry van and refrigerated trailers
• Electric pallet jacks provided
• Grocery freight serving retail stores throughout Northern Indiana and the Chicago market

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum age: 23 years old
• Dry van or refrigerated experience preferred
• Ability to unload freight using an electric pallet jack
• Strong customer service skills
• Must meet DOT and company hiring standards
