We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, community, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients by assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient observation and monitor health status, including vital signs and medication administration
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs
- Utilize care plans to deliver personalized care tailored to each individual's requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to supervising healthcare professionals
- Assist with transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
- Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy
- Engage in ongoing training related to client care.
Qualification
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation responsibilities
