Role Description The Patient Access Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Palm Springs, FL. This position is responsible for greeting patients, completing patient registration, and ensuring accurate collection of demographic, insurance, and contact information. Day-to-day tasks include verifying insurance coverage and benefits, explaining financial responsibilities, and updating patient records in the system. The role involves scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries in a clear, professional manner. The Patient Access Representative collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient patient flow and a positive experience from check-in through check-out.

- Strong Insurance Verification skills and familiarity with payer requirements and benefits
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately communicate and document patient information
- Proficiency in Typing and data entry with attention to accuracy and speed
- Experience with Patient Registration processes and electronic health record or practice management systems
- Clear, professional Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Previous experience in a medical front office, hospital registration, or similar patient-facing healthcare role preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in healthcare administration or medical office procedures is a plus
