Job DescriptionJob Overview:
- The Equipment Readiness Technician is responsible for supporting equipment preparation, maintenance activities, and readiness operations to ensure all equipment meets operational and safety standards.
- This role involves executing work orders, performing inspections and testing, and assisting with logistics and documentation.
Experience:
- Entry-level role.
- Preferred experience in forklift operation and industrial warehouse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in equipment preparation for operational readiness.
- Execute assigned work orders in compliance with standard procedures.
- Verify equipment certifications and calibration status.
- Perform or assist in function testing, inspections, and calibration activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for maintenance and testing activities.
- Prepare and organize documentation related to inspections, certifications, and quality control.
- Support equipment staging, shipment preparation, and loading operations.
- Load equipment onto trucks when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance processes and operational standards.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of equipment handling and maintenance processes.
- Forklift operation skills or willingness to be trained.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Should Have:
- Experience in warehouse or industrial environments.
- Basic understanding of equipment inspection and calibration processes.
Qualification And Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
