Senior Startup Engineer
$140-160k+Bonus
Houston, TX
Summary:
As a Senior Engineer you will be the one to take charge of conceptual design based on customer specifications, work in a team environment to ensure design and scope align with stakeholders expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform process simulations for heat and material balances
- Prepare process equipment data sheets and equipment lists
- Prepare process flow diagrams
- Assist in the development of piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Prepare calculations for line sizing, hydraulics and valve sizing
- Write process descriptions
- Review work of Junior Engineers
- Develop start-up and operating manuals
- Participate in unit start-ups
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering
- EIT or PE preferred
- 3+process engineering experience
- Startup and commissioning experience in a gas plant environment
- Experience with process simulation software
- Experience with cryogenic air separation, natural gas liquefaction, hydrogen liquefaction, helium processing and/or liquefaction
- Experience with natural gas processing technologies
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience interacting with customers
