  • Play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of various personal injury and worker's compensation claims.

  • You will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representation, and advocacy to clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Client Consultations: Meet with clients to discuss their personal injury claims, evaluate the merits of their cases, and explain the legal process.

  • Case Investigation: Investigate and gather evidence related to clients' injuries, including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.

  • Claim Filing: Prepare and file claims on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all required documentation.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies, employers, and opposing counsel to reach favorable settlements for clients.

  • Litigation: Represent clients in hearings, administrative proceedings, and trials when necessary.

  • Client Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the legal process, addressing their questions and concerns promptly.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed case records, documentation, and correspondence to track progress and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to understand the applicable laws, regulations, and precedents that pertain to each case.

  • Legal Strategy: Develop and execute effective legal strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

  • Legal Updates: Stay informed about changes in Michigan laws and regulations and apply this knowledge to benefit clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active state bar admission and license to practice law in Michigan-willing to consider newly barred and experienced candidates.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Michigan Bar License (Required)
