We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for recording financial activity, preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and supporting various accounting and financial projects.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: Starting at $56,513.60/year
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Record monthly financial activity and prepare financial statements.
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts against budget.
- Maintain the capital budget database and establish/close projects.
- Prepare capital acquisition and other financial reports.
- Research and report unclaimed property.
- Assist with budgeting, audits, records retention, cash and credit card reconciliations, intercompany payments, and other accounting projects.
- Work closely with managers, directors, auditors, and other internal teams.
- Communicate effectively with financial and healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of related accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and similar functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting.
- Previous healthcare accounting experience.
- Experience with financial/accounting software.
