Duties May Include:
· Develop and maintain USAB web applications and associated subsites
· Perform website administration including account maintenance and software configuration updates
· Serve as Section 508 compliance expert ensuring information and artifacts comply with accessibility standards
· Monitor development and production environments for software patches and upgrading releases
· Manage all software that supports the USAB website in accordance with configuration and security standards
· Generate reports from monitoring systems to review overall traffic to main USAB website
· Create and maintain support websites to assist with complaint tracking system
· Create and maintain websites, reports and dashboards in support of USAB operations
· Ensure proper application development methodologies including requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, quality assurance testing and implementation
· Provide Section 508 compliance support for documentation and applications created by USAB staff
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in web development workflows and e-commerce applications
· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
· Experience with tools like GitHub, SQL/MySQL databases
· Knowledge of UX principles and application design
· Understanding of Section 508 compliance requirements for web application development and documentation
· Experience with design, development, unit testing, and code implementation
· Knowledge of configuration management and proper code management techniques
· Experience with application development lifecycle methodologies
· Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
· Certified in Section 508 compliance or accessibility standards
· Experience with federal government web development requirements
· Knowledge of FISMA and ATO/ATU processes for web applications
· Experience with cloud-based application deployment (Microsoft Azure)
· Familiarity with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools
