Service Technician — Compressed Air & Vacuum Systems
$25.00 – $45.00 / hr | Toledo, OH | Full-Time

At Diversified Air Systems (DAS), our Service Technicians are the backbone of the business the factory-certified specialists that manufacturers, tool & die shops, stamping plants, and municipalities in the Toledo area call when their compressed air systems need to be right. You'll work directly in the field, servicing and repairing air compressors, dryers, and related equipment across leading brands including Kaishan, Sullair, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, and Kaeser. With 46+ years in the compressed air industry and rapid growth in our service division, we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us.

Compensation & Benefits

What You'll Do
Field Service & Repair
- Provide on-site technical support, diagnosis, and repair of air compressors, compressed air dryers, vacuum systems, and related accessories at customer facilities across the Toledo region.
- Perform preventative maintenance on air compressor products to maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures efficiently getting customers back up and running with minimal downtime.
- Oversee proper installation of new compressed air equipment and system components.
Customer Service & Communication
- Explain system capabilities, features, and corrective actions to customers clearly and professionally building trust on every visit.
- Understand customer needs, answer technical questions, and recommend solutions that exceed expectations.
- Exhibit professional appearance and conduct; represent DAS's reputation for quality service in every customer interaction.
Documentation & Safety
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time work orders, service orders, customer contracts, and company forms.
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company regulations on every job site.
- Work safely and responsibly to protect yourself, the customer's facility, and DAS equipment at all times.
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- Solid mechanical and electrical skills comfortable diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment in the field.
- Strong troubleshooting ability you can work through a complex mechanical or electrical problem methodically.
- Reliable, dependable, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a field role with regular customer site travel.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a range of industrial environments (climbing, standing, bending, kneeling).
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience servicing air compressors, compressed air dryers, or vacuum systems.
- Factory training or certifications on brands such as Kaishan, Sullair, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, or Kaeser.
- Background in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or a related mechanical/electrical trade.
- Familiarity with compressed air system components dryers, filters, receivers, piping, and controls.
