Requirements & Experience
- Active and current Virginia SLP License
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred)
- Strong collaboration abilities and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload documentation, therapy planning, and IEP processes
- Comfort with hybrid and teletherapy technologies (for hybrid option)
- Dedication to creating inclusive, encouraging learning environments
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grades
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop goals, and create individualized plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff as an integral resource
- Maintain detailed progress reports and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adapt strategies to meet students’ evolving needs
- Educate staff and families about communication strategies and support
