Pay Rate:
1st Shift: $21.00 per hour
2nd Shift: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM–11:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
About the Job Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring experienced MIG & TIG Welders for a metal fabrication manufacturer in Cherryville, NC. Openings are available on both first and second shifts. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company known for hiring high-performing temporary employees and offering increased pay and competitive benefits after permanent placement.
What You’ll Do
- Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for production
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal parts
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and product specifications
- Inspect completed welds and parts for quality and accuracy
- Complete work orders and accurately report production quantities
- Label, organize, and place finished parts on the correct pallets
- Maintain the flow of materials into and out of the work area
- Follow production schedules and all workplace safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required; manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to set up welding equipment and use standard measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safe work practices
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred and the ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements
