Job Position: Custodian Full Time
Location: Central York School District
Pay Rate: $16.32/hr
Shift: First Shift: 2:30am-11:00pm
Description:
SOS Group is seeking a dependable, hard-working Custodian to join our facilities team. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is detail-oriented, and can work both independently and as part of a team. *Employer paid clearances*

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas

Empty trash and recycling receptacles

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors
-
Refill soap, paper products, and other supplies
-
Assist with event setup and tear-down (e.g., tables, chairs, equipment)

Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs
-
Ensure building security by locking/unlocking doors as assigned

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a plus
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
