We are seeking an experienced Inventor Designer to support engineering efforts on power product projects. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers to produce high-quality technical, parts, and assembly drawings and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM).
Responsibilities
- Create and revise detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineers on the design of power products.
- Support additional design and documentation tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
- At least three years of industry experience in 3D modeling in a drafting capacity for manufacturing shops.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience will also be considered.
- Experience in automated industrial equipment or metal enclosures drafting or design.
- Ability to create or edit parts and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience drafting for power products such as low voltage switchboards, switchgears, UPSs, and static switches.
- Certified Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) is a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment is an office setting, with a Monday to Friday schedule, 100% onsite. Initially, work hours are from 8am-5pm for the first couple of weeks. Afterward, a mutual start time will be agreed upon with the supervisor, likely between 6am-8:30am. Lunch is one hour

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $48.00/hr.
