Data Entry Specialist
Location: Elgin, IL
Salary: $45,000- $47,500

We’re looking for an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to gain valuable experience. You’ll play an important role in keeping information accurate and organized while working alongside a team that values collaboration, learning, and growth.

What You'll Do:
- Accurately enter and maintain customer, order, and product information within an ERP system.
- Review purchase orders and source documents to verify part numbers, quantities, pricing, and other order details.
- Prepare customer specifications and project documentation for engineering, accounting, and quality teams.
- Coordinate with engineering to ensure project requests are completed and submitted to customers for review and approval.
- Process CRM updates and monitor sales team entries to ensure information is complete and accurate.
- Communicate order confirmations and relevant updates to customers through email.
- Collaborate with sales and internal departments to ensure orders and project information move efficiently through the business.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required, business, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Typing speed of 55+ WPM with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong math skills with the ability to accurately work with quantities, pricing, and numerical information.
- Comfortable working with computer systems and learning ERP/CRM software.
