**Role is 100% onsite in Maryland
**Candidates must be GC or US Citizens
We need someone who knows both SAP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) inside and out. This person will lead the design, setup, and improvement of how our company moves goods (logistics, transportation, and related processes). You’ll work closely with IT, business users, and other technical teams to make sure the systems actually match what the business needs.
What You’ll Do

Look at business problems and figure out how technology can solve them.

Set up and configure SAP + TMS systems so they work the way the business needs.

Build workflows, data maps, and test steps for developers and testers.

Run pilots/demos to show what solutions will look like before full rollout.

Help lead, coach, and mentor team members on IT/transportation projects.

Partner with other IT and business teams to make sure systems work together smoothly.

Document processes, create training material, and help with change management.

Keep projects moving on time with minimal supervision.
What You Need to Bring

Bachelor’s in IT or similar field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of hands-on SAP configuration (ECC or S/4HANA) and TMS experience (SAP TMS, Oracle OTM, Blue Yonder, etc.).

8+ years total in IT systems analysis (turning business needs into tech solutions).

Deep knowledge of logistics, warehouse, yard management, transportation, and how they connect to manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, and finance.

Solid experience with training, documentation, and process mapping.

Strong communication skills — must be able to talk both “tech” and “business.”
Nice-to-Haves
-
Blue Yonder TMS and related modules.

SAP Order to Cash, EWM, or other supply chain modules.

Completed multiple end-to-end TMS implementation projects.

Familiarity with integration tools (API, EDI, middleware), databases (DB2, SQL), or scripting.

Knowledge of PowerBI, Snowflake, or other reporting/analytics tools.

Experience with project management tools and Agile/Waterfall methods.
