About the Job:
We're excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Facilities Technician! Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, this position will perform the necessary maintenance and/or repair of existing Bank buildings and fixtures as required. Assists with operational functions within the Department.
The hiring range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00 hourly.
This position is Full Time, 40 hours weekly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May be Assigned):
- Signs into the PropertyTrak facilities management system daily to respond to work orders that are assigned by the Facilities Supervisor.
- Reviews and analyzes work orders to identify the best approach to meet requests. Updates and compiles notes and photos if needed, for documentation. Once the work order is completed, follows procedures on PropertyTrak to close tasks.
- Performs the following tasks as requested: General Repairs & Maintenance; Cleaning; Delivery; Event Set-up and special projects as required.
- Scope of typical repairs include but are not limited to: electrical repairs not requiring the need for a licensed electrician; plumbing repairs limited to minor leaks and valve replacements; Drywall work including partition construction; Structural repairs to furniture, fixtures or Bank equipment; Outdoor work including repairs to blacktop, curbs, drive-up area, lock boxes, minor landscape work(limited to clean up of weeds, grade correction, drainage, minor storm clean up); Carpentry repairs to wooden cabinets, doors, trim, and laminates.
- Performs general maintenance to any bank-owned facility as needed, to maintain proper appearance and working order.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to any bank-owned facility as needed, to maintain proper appearance and working order.
- Performs pick-up & delivery for the U.S. Postal Service as required by the Logistics Coordinator, as well as daily mail processing.
- Performs supply deliveries to branches and special requests for pick-ups/deliveries across the organization as requested.
- Performs event set-up tasks as required for any Bank-sponsored charity event or internal meeting.
- On call availability required on an after-hours and weekend basis on a rotating schedule.

Knowledge and Skills
It is required that the employee in this position can work independently while interpreting ideas and facts, as well as having strong verbal and numerical aptitudes. This employee should have strong customer service skills. Must have the ability to explain technical concerns to non-technical personnel.
This position requires basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Knowledge of PropertyTrak is preferred.
Education and Work Experience
A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Formal facilities maintenance training is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance is required, including but not limited to working experience with building security, HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and electrical items.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
This job requires frequent physical demands such as sitting, hearing, computer work, repetitive hand motion such as typing, talking, standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and/or ladders, kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, shoveling, and the ability to lift more than 50 lbs. This position will require frequent local travel between offices.
