Description for Floor Installer & Finisher:
- Inspect, level, clean, and prepare subfloor surfaces meticulously prior to product application.
- Install a wide variety of commercial and residential floor coverings with precision, straight seams, and care.
- Collaborate dynamically with site Superintendents and Project Managers to verify room layouts and material counts.
- Utilize specialized hand and power tools safely to execute clean trims, transitions, and finishes.
- Maintain a highly organized work area, remove scrap debris, and strictly follow site safety policies.
Details for Floor Installer & Finisher:
- Pay Range: $20.00 – $24.00+ / hour (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Full-Time Day Shift.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Floor Installer & Finisher:
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional flooring installation or finish carpentry experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable daily routine to accommodate project sites.
- Strong attention to detail, high mechanical aptitude, and the complete ability to take technical field direction.
- Physical capability to handle manual labor, bend, stoop, kneel comfortably all day, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and an excellent team work ethic.
