Engineering Manager, Electrical – Design & Project Oversight
Location: McFarland, WI (100% onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent W-2
Salary: Up to $180,000/year + Full Benefits

Your Role
As Engineering Manager, Electrical, you will sit on the leadership team as the principal decision-maker for all electrical engineering activities. You will:
Lead & Develop People: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate engineers; cultivate a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Oversee Projects: Manage the full lifecycle of electrical design initiatives, including engineering change notices (ECNs), new product development (NPD), R&D efforts, and outsourced engineering services.
Process Ownership: Maintain and improve our engineering documentation, design standards, and workflow processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Hands-On Engineering: Provide technical leadership on schematic design, BOM development, and manufacturing tooling requirements.
Customer & Market Engagement: Represent our engineering capabilities at industry events, supporting both technical demonstrations and sales discussions.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 10–15 years of equivalent electrical engineering experience (Master’s preferred).
- At least 15 years of engineering experience, including 7+ years in electrical design or new product development and 5+ years in team and project leadership.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SolidWorks CAD.
- Experience in pipeline, power utility, corrosion, or cathodic protection industries is a plus.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Proven track record of building and inspiring high-performance teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of driving projects from concept to completion.
- Professional Dedication:
- Stable work history (minimum three years per role).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
