Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Relief Veterinarian | Broward County, Florida.

\n

\n

We are recruiting on behalf of a privately owned general practice hospital in Broward County that has an urgent, near-term relief need, along with the potential for a more permanent, recurring per diem arrangement for the right fit.

\n

\n

This hospital is housed in a large, purpose-built facility constructed within the last five years, and is known for compliant, easygoing clients and strong staff morale. With urgent coverage needed in early October, and further dates identified through into March, the hospital is looking for a reliable relief vet who can help bridge the gap, with the possibility of building into a more regular 2-3 day per week (or rotating Saturday) arrangement over time.

\n

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start with urgent, one-off coverage and potentially grow that into a consistent, recurring relief relationship, or even a permanent role down the line, as the hospital is looking to hire permanently within the next six months.

\n

The role will involve a standard general practice caseload in 30-minute appointment slots, with no surgery expectations. You will not be the only doctor on shift, and will be supported by one dedicated support staff member plus a floater.
