Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We’re building something bold, a first-of-its-kind, category-defining B2C health & wellness experience that will help people live more joyful, healthy and purposeful lives. It will bring together industry pioneers, visionaries, and challengers in mental well-being, fitness, nutrition, and longevity. We’re looking for a General Manager with deep experience in health & wellness to lead this initiative from the ground up.

Part business architect, part curator, and part operator with deep roots in the health & wellness ecosystem. You will lead and build on the vision of the founders of this flagship health & wellness experience from concept to execution.You’ll collaborate with executive leadership, brand, content, partnerships, and production partners to build a world-class event that defines our category and elevates our community.

Your strategic insight and curation will define success, translating cultural momentum into a world-class experience that inspires, educates, and connects.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape the Strategy & Vision

    • Translate the founders’ ambitions into a strategic roadmap that positions the event as a category defining platform.

    • Define the overarching vision and thematic pillars for the flagship health & wellness experience.

    • Ensure authenticity, credibility, and cultural resonance across all aspects of the experience.

  • Curate with Depth & Authority

    • Identify the thought leaders, practitioners, brands, and emerging voices who will shape the program.

    • Craft content and experiences that reflect cutting-edge trends and enduring practices in wellness.

    • Imagine a holistic attendee journey—from mainstage storytelling to immersive activations—that feels transformative and true to the community.

    • Partner with internal stakeholders (brand, product, content, GTM, leadership) to ensure event goals align with company priorities.

  • Build the Ecosystem

    • Leverage your network to bring in partners, sponsors, and collaborators aligned with wellness values.

    • Act as a connector between brands, practitioners, and audiences, creating a community that extends beyond the event.

    • Cultivate relationships that ensure the platform has staying power in the wellness space.

  • Oversee Execution (with Support)

    • Partner with seasoned event and production teams to bring the vision to life.

    • Hold accountability for the P&L, budget, and ROI, while balancing creative excellence with business goals.

    • Ensure alignment between founders, brand, content, production, and external vendors.

  • Grow and lead a team. Hire, manage, and mentor internal staff or freelancers across event functions as needed.

  • Scale smartly. Design for repeatability and growth, building infrastructure that allows future expansion or event series.

  • Execute with excellence. Deliver an event that meets or exceeds goals across experience, brand impact, press, community, and ROI.

The base salary range for this position is $200,000–$300,000 USD, with potential eligibility for bonus and equity. Actual compensation within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and skill level. This position may be eligible for additional discretionary compensation and benefits. As this is a unique role, this range represents a good-faith and flexible estimate.
