We’re currently seeking a high-performing Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at a 150+ unit multifamily community in Washington, DC.
This is a prime opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who excels in older, vintage assets and takes pride in coaching a small team, reducing vendor reliance, and elevating resident satisfaction. The right candidate will have the autonomy and support to streamline unit turns, drive preventive maintenance, and improve service quality across the board with a clear mandate to lead by example.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance for a 150+ unit multifamily community
- Lead, schedule, and develop a small team while setting quality and safety standards
- Perform hands-on repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances
- Implement preventive maintenance plans and manage parts inventory and budgeting
- Coordinate with leadership on code compliance, inspections, and CapEx work
Qualifications
- 1+ years of maintenance supervisor experience in multifamily
- Experience working in older or vintage buildings strongly preferred
- EPA Universal or HVAC certification required
- Demonstrated hands-on skills across multiple trades
- Proven leadership, communication, and resident service skills
