Job Title: Enterprise Architecture & Governance Specialist
Location: Hybrid – Washington, DC Metro Area
Type: Long-Term Contract (W2)
Rate: $70 - $85 / hour
Overview:
We are seeking two experienced professionals to support enterprise architecture and governance initiatives within a large public-sector organization undergoing a major digital transformation. These roles will help shape long-term IT strategy, align technology investments with business needs, and drive enterprise-wide standards across cloud, data, and application domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and governance of enterprise and domain architectures
- Contribute to the creation of technology roadmaps and long-range strategic planning
- Define architectural standards, frameworks, and patterns across the digital ecosystem
- Assist with cloud and data architecture initiatives (Azure, Oracle Cloud, data lakes, pipelines)
- Facilitate IT and data governance processes and technology change control
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in technology architecture, systems engineering, or IT strategy
- 2+ years in enterprise architecture, governance, or data management
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or Oracle Cloud)
- Familiarity with EA frameworks (TOGAF, FEAF, Zachman, etc.)
- Strong communication and visualization skills (e.g., Visio, PowerPoint)
