We're a fast-growing engineering consulting firm based in New York City, specializing in energy compliance, energy modeling, and technical analysis for buildings. We partner with property owners, architects, and government agencies to deliver high-impact, regulation-driven solutions that make buildings smarter, more efficient, and future-ready. We are currently seeking an Energy Modeler with at least 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful projects related to NYC's energy and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and calibrate whole-building energy models using software such as eQuest, Energy Plus, Open Studio, or IES-VE

· Support energy code compliance (ASHRAE, IECC), LEED documentation, and NYC Local Law 97 carbon analysis

· Analyze building system performance and identify energy-saving opportunities

· Collaborate with energy auditors, engineers, and sustainability consultants

· Prepare clear, concise reports and modeling summaries for clients and regulatory agencies

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Building Science, or a related field

· 1-2 years of experience in energy modeling, building performance analysis, or sustainability consulting

· Familiarity with NYC energy codes, LEED, and Local Laws (LL97, LL87) is a plus

· Experience with Excel, AutoCAD, and building system drawings

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· EIT certification or pursuit of CEM/BEMP credential is a plus
