CRI is seeking a Senior Service and Maintenance Technician. The selected candidate will optimize system performance, manage resource utilization, and support system analysis and planning for multiple customers. Responsibilities include overseeing daily security system configuration and operations, performing hands on technical work, conducting analyses, and preparing required documentation.


The technician will also support onsite maintenance and repair activities and work independently to install, operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair security system devices, circuits, copper and fiber cabling, components, software, and connectivity. The role requires a solid understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure all maintenance and repair activities align with company goals.


Essential Duties and Functions

Self performs preventative maintenance, repair and installation of intrusion detection, access control, electric door lock hardware, video management, and data communication systems. On-site work will include maintenance, repair, installation and configuration of head-end computer systems, termination and calibration of field devices and sensors, and installation of communication infrastructure including some conduit, enclosures, cooper cabling and fiber optic cables.
Assists Service Manager with scheduling and coordinating daily service-related activities.
Assists Service Manager with site surveys and developing cost estimates for service repairs.
Completes job status reports, travel expense reports, and other documentation as required.
Conducts Government-witnessed testing of installed and repaired systems.
Performs on-call repair service as scheduled during non-regular working periods (nights, weekends and holidays)
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications:
A bachelors degree and four years of relevant experience or 5 to 7 years of general experience without a degree are required in Information, Communications, Network Technology, or Low Voltage Electrical applications related to complex security systems. The role involves coordinating with technical staff, management, and Government representatives to ensure accurate solutions and strong user satisfaction. Candidates must pass a drug screening, hold a valid drivers license, and be able to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Clearance.
