Job Description

This role focuses on supporting the production and shipping of chemical-based cleaning products in a warehouse environment. You will fill and prepare containers of chemicals for shipment, ensure accurate labeling, and help maintain a clean and organized workspace. The position involves consistent hands-on work, attention to detail, and collaboration with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Fill 20-gallon jugs of chemicals from 50-gallon bins in preparation for shipping.
Assist with filling, labeling, and storing chemical containers throughout the warehouse.
Place shipping labels on boxes by hand in labeling and packaging areas.
Pick and pack products according to order specifications and shipping requirements.
Lift and move boxes weighing between 10 and 50 pounds to staging areas and for shipment.
Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
Handle materials safely and follow procedures appropriate for working with chemicals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including general cleanup tasks in production and warehouse spaces.
Perform repetitive production and material handling tasks while standing for extended periods.
Collaborate with team members and follow instructions to meet daily production and shipping goals.

Essential Skills

Ability to safely lift and carry 10–50 pounds on a regular basis.
Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience in a production, shipping, or material handling role.
Strong attention to detail when filling, labeling, and packing chemical products.
Basic written and verbal communication skills to follow instructions and document work as needed.
Comfort working in a repetitive, hands-on role that requires standing for most of the shift.
Experience with general warehouse tasks such as lifting, loading, unloading, and material handling.
Ability to work reliably on a set schedule and meet productivity expectations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Background as a general production worker, material handler, or in shipping and receiving.
Experience working with chemicals or in a chemical production environment.
Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with cleaning processes and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Ability to adapt and assist in multiple departments, including labeling and packaging.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr.
