Responsibilities


As a Midas Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services, including:

  • Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems

  • Tire installation and repair

  • Heating and air conditioning repair

  • Steering and suspension systems

  • Belt and hose replacement

  • Radiator and cooling system service

  • Battery, starting, and charging system diagnostics

  • Brake repair and replacement

  • Oil changes and routine maintenance

  • Check engine light diagnostics

  • Muffler and exhaust system repair

  • Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications


  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently

  • Strong knowledge in brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics

  • High level of personal productivity and accountability

  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations for automotive facilities

  • Experience using shop equipment (lifts, alignment machines, tire changers, scan tools, etc.)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)

  • State-specific auto repair certifications (where applicable)

  • Valid drivers license

  • Own tools and equipment (diagnostic tools a plus)

  • Ability to work on both domestic and foreign vehicles
