ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED!
As part of the CASTLE-NET program, the Field Office Support Lead oversees the deployment of technicians to perform IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks at field offices and remote locations. This role involves organizing, training, and managing a team of Field Office Technicians to ensure successful execution of support operations. The ideal candidate will have strong IT support experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This is a remote, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate field technician teams for on-site IT wellness checks.
- Train and mentor support staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Manage scheduling, task assignments, and performance tracking.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Utilize remote support tools and ticketing systems to manage incidents.
- Ensure compliance with USACE IT policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for field support activities.
Qualifications by Level:
Junior Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Good technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Willingness to travel to field locations.
- Preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, USACE IT environment experience.

Journeyman Level:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Willingness to travel to field locations.
- Preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, USACE IT environment experience.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Based on level (see below)
- Paid Time Off: 15 days PTO annually

Salary Range:
- Junior: $50,000 – $55,000 annually
- Journeyman: $55,000 – $65,000 annually
- Senior: $65,000 – $80,000 annually
