Sterling Kitchen Solutions LLC is a growing commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning company serving restaurants throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
We are seeking experienced and dependable Lead Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technicians to join our team. We are looking for professionals who can independently perform commercial kitchen exhaust system cleanings, lead other technicians, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
We welcome experienced technicians who are looking for additional work, as well as established cleaning professionals who have their own equipment and are interested in a long-term working relationship.
As our company continues to expand, we are looking for reliable individuals who want to grow with us and take on leadership responsibilities.
Pay & Compensation
$21–$35 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, leadership capabilities, and equipment provided.
Compensation is based on your ability to independently complete commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning jobs, supervise other technicians, and provide professional cleaning equipment.
Technicians with extensive experience, relevant certifications, and their own commercial pressure washing equipment may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform commercial kitchen hood and exhaust system cleaning jobs.
- Thoroughly clean kitchen hoods, grease ducts, exhaust fans, and accessible components of commercial exhaust systems.
- Operate commercial hot-water pressure washers, degreasers, and other professional cleaning equipment.
- Supervise and assist additional cleaning technicians.
- Ensure cleaning work meets applicable NFPA 96 requirements.
- Inspect completed work and document results with before-and-after photographs.
- Identify and report grease buildup, maintenance concerns, access issues, and potential fire hazards.
- Communicate professionally with restaurant owners and managers.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous commercial kitchen hood and exhaust cleaning experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently complete commercial exhaust system cleaning jobs.
- Experience leading or supervising cleaning crews is a plus.
- Knowledge of NFPA 96 standards and commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
- Experience operating commercial pressure washing equipment.
- Relevant kitchen exhaust cleaning certifications are a plus.
- Owning your own commercial hood cleaning equipment is a major plus but is not required.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the DFW metroplex.
- Ability to safely work on ladders, access rooftops, and perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.
- Availability for evening, overnight, and occasional weekend shifts.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.

Individual jobs typically range from 3–8 hours, depending on the size and condition of the restaurant's kitchen exhaust system.
