Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
A trusted name in snack foods manufacturing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and guide all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving uptime, ensuring food safety compliance, and safeguarding production efficiency in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who brings strong technical knowledge & experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a focus on efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for all plant equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, pneumatic components, and gas burners.
- Lead preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime and increase reliability.
- Oversee maintenance team’s performance, training, and development.
- Ensure all work complies with food safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate maintenance needs across departments, including production, quality control, and warehouse operations.
- Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and special projects.
- Support quality systems related to food safety plans and audits.
- Use RedZone and other tools to monitor performance and drive process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance systems, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment (Form, Fill, and Seal) is a plus.
- OSHA training or certification preferred.
- Skilled in using maintenance and parts management software, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
- High school or trade school diploma required; management training certification preferred but not required.
