Job Description Employment Law Paralegal
Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Temp to Hire, Hybrid 4 days onsite / 1 day remote, Full-Time
Pay Range: $40-$55/hr
LHH is working with an international organization in seeking an experience Employment Law Paralegal. This role handles highly confidential information, requires exceptional attention to detail, and is ideal for someone seeking hands-on exposure to employment law within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, redline, and format highly confidential agreements and correspondence, including employment, member service, and severance documents.
- Serve as a key point of contact with agents and executives, ensuring sensitive communications are handled with discretion and professionalism.
- Develop, streamline, and enhance internal legal procedures and workflow processes.
- Collect relevant information, assess circumstances, and identify potential conflicts of interest in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct targeted employment law research and prepare concise, well-organized analyses for internal counsel.
- Assist with workplace investigations by gathering facts, documentation, and supporting materials.
- Partner with Human Resources to support compliance initiatives and related legal projects.
- Use electronic signature platforms and calendaring systems to manage the execution, routing, and distribution of agreements.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems to ensure quick, reliable access to critical documents.
- Create and update spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools to support legal operations.
- Build a strong understanding of internal workflows and collaborate effectively across departments to support smooth, coordinated processes.
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate or Legal Assistant Certificate required.
- Experience drafting and reviewing agreements strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
